Who we are
Dreamographer is a small independent studio that publishes short science films about dreams. Contact: hello@dreamographer.com.
This website
This website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.
Dreamographer Studio and the YouTube API Services
"Dreamographer Studio" is our private publishing tool. It uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your data is also handled under the Google Privacy Policy.
The tool is used only by the Dreamographer team, signed in with Google (OAuth 2.0), on our own channel. With the permissions granted at sign-in, it:
- uploads our own finished videos and sets their title, description, thumbnail and the "altered or synthetic
content" label (scope
youtube.upload,youtube.force-ssl); - reads our own channel's name, handle and video list, to check it is posting to the right channel
(
youtube.readonly); - reads our own channel's statistics (views, watch time, retention) to learn which films work
(
yt-analytics.readonly).
It does not access, collect or store data about any other YouTube user or channel, and it does not sell, share or transfer YouTube data to anyone.
What we store, where, and for how long
- The OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on our own server and are used only to act on our channel. They are deleted when access is revoked.
- Our channel's statistics are stored on the same server. YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as the YouTube API Services Developer Policies require, unless YouTube has given us written permission to keep statistics longer.
- Nothing is stored in browsers, and no cookies are set.
Revoking access and deletion
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page (Third-party apps with account access → Dreamographer Studio). After a revocation, or on request to hello@dreamographer.com, we delete the stored tokens and any YouTube API data within 7 days.
